  1. Where can I find EVO charging stations?

Our EV charging network spans over 2,000 km of roads in Oman, making EVO chargers widely accessible. Exact locations can be found using our EVO mobile app.

  1. Do I need to stay with my car while it’s charging?

While it is safe to leave your car charging, we encourage users to monitor their charging sessions through the EVO app. This helps to free up the charger as soon as your vehicle is fully charged.

EVO offers 24/7 live support for all our customers. If you encounter a problem, please contact us immediately and we will assist you.

  1. Can I use the EVO charging network without a subscription?

Yes, you can use our offline charging stations without a subscription, however, subscribing to EVO offers many benefits including preferential rates, easy payment options, and seamless control of charging sessions via the EVO app.

  1. Can EVO install a charger at my home or office?

Absolutely, EVO offers both AC and DC charger installation services for individuals and commercial users. This includes offline and online use.

  1. How long does it take to charge my EV at an EVO station?

The charging time can vary based on the model of your EV and the level of battery depletion. Typically, our rapid chargers can provide an 80% charge in less than 30 minutes.

  1. How can I track my charging history and payments?

You can easily track your charging history, manage payments, and get detailed insights into your usage through the EVO mobile app.

  1. How safe is it to use EVO chargers?

Our chargers comply with the strictest international safety standards. They are robust, user-friendly and undergo regular maintenance checks to ensure their safe operation.

  1. Are there any prerequisites for using EVO chargers?

Any electric vehicle capable of connecting to our chargers can use the EVO network. You just need to have an account with EVO, which you can easily create through our mobile app.

What is EVO Charging App?

This mobile app can be used to discover charging stations, charge EV and make payment.

How to find a charging station suitable for my EV and nearby?

Please use the search icon in the app to look for charging stations in the preferred area, view details to find out if the connectors in the charging station suits your EV needs.

How do I start a charging session?

There are 2 methods to start a charging session.

Method 1: Open the Scan icon on the home screen of the app, scan QR code of the appropriate connector.

Method 2: select a connector in a charging station that is available and click on Charge button.

Once you are identified as a registered user, plug in the connector to your EV, select the required mode of charging (time/money/energy) and proceed.

To start a charging session. During the scan if your account does not have sufficient balance, you will be asked to top-up your account.

How much does it cost to charge in these charging points?

Please check Tariff details displayed under each connector to calculate the cost of charging your EV.

Is it mandatory to register to use the app to charge EV?

Yes, please register on the app to get access to all the services like reservation and charging, however without registering one can discover the charging stations in the network.

I see that my account shows deactivated in My Account details, what do I do?

Account status is shown as deactivated due to insufficient balance. Please use the Top-up option and recharge the account to continue using the app for charging your EV.

How do I pay for the charging session?

There are two ways of making payment. If your credit account has sufficient balance, then the payment is made by automatically debiting the amount from this wallet. If you start a session and then the energy consumption crosses the account limit, then you will be asked to make payment using Bank Muscat payment gateway after the session has ended.

I am trying to recharge the account using Bank Muscat but it’s not working, what do I do?

Please contact the CPO admin who can recharge your account.

What do the colors mean on the charging station markers on the map?

Many charging stations have more than one connector, if at least one connector is available, the station is shown as green, if all the connectors are busy then the station is shown orange, if connectors in the charging station are non-operational (faulted/unavailable) the station is shown gray.

I want to change the primary details of my account in the app, can I change it?

Except mobile number used for registration any other details in Profile can be updated by editing the same.

Can I use RFID to do a charging session and see the details in the app?

Yes, RFID card registered to the user can be used to do a charging session. In the app this will be displayed as a charging session detail bar on the map screen, on selecting this you can view the status of the charging session.

Where can I see all the charging sessions I have made so far?

In the mobile app bottom tab, there is a history tab available which provides a list of all the charging sessions made so far and the billing and payment details also.

Whom to contact in case of any problem while charging my car or problem with the charger?

Please contact the support details mentioned in the Help section.

Where can I get RFID card?

Please contact the charge point operator who will issue an RFID card and assign it to you. This card can be used for charging your EV and can be recharged when needed using the Top-up option provided in the mobile app.

I have started a charging session from the mobile app, but not able to stop it, whom should I contact?

Use the emergency stop button available in the charge point or contact the charge point operator who can assist.

I am not able to start a charging session, whom do I contact?

Please call the support number provided in the Help section of the mobile app.
